I’m sure most of you know Eroquis at this point; he runs a fantastic blog featuring horribly dirty girls doing the most unseemly of things.
However, despite the frequency with which he updates his blog, I’ve never seen him do much commercial work. There were a couple Lolita Clubs he contributed to, but that was about it. That all changes today(hopefully): Eroquis released, with Nightmare Express, a new work on DLSite. If the name, the fact that it was drawn by Eroquis or the fact that it was released by a company called Nightmare Express didn’t tip you off, let me issue a warning: This is really rather hardcore.
As the name indicates, it is primarily a rape work. It’s the Bang-You sort of rape, though, where the woman being accosted doesn’t seem to mind too much. There are a few disturbing scenes, one where the protagonist is about to hung comes to mind, but beyond that it’s pretty much standard fare for this sort of thing. Gangbang, bukkake, light bondage and some S&M. I have one huge, huge, hueg complaint with this DLSite release, though: No goddamn sample pictures. Is it honestly that hard? It’s not. I’ll post some low-res samples.

In other news, this release was the kick in the dick in the balls that I needed to go and clean out Eroquis’s site. He’s got an incredible amount of content up there. He should take the h-manga’s that he’s got there and release higher res versions on DLSite. I’d gladly pay for them.
Finally, this is awesome. And for so many reasons! The amount of content(about 109 images), the source material(Dragonauts and Witchblade), Garnet, the art is pretty fantastic AND it features some mother/daughter stuff. So.
No, real finally: Eroquis is awesome as, if for no other reason, he did some dirty Angela art. Fanart of minor characters is the best, as I never expect to see it and when I do, I’m like “This is awesome, why isn’t there more?!” Why isn’t there more, Eroquis? ;-;

Something I don’t talk about often, thought I likely will in the future(weeaboo blogger requirement, not my choice), is anime. Anyhoo, I’ve been dicking around on the PSN lately, and I saw a trailer for Bounen no Xam’d. Despite having read about this anime before, I completely ignored it thinking it was some sort of game. To make a long story short, I noticed the episode last night on the PSN and was here and there on it until I watched the trailer I’d been ignoring.
When I watched the trailer, two things struck me: the first was how much it felt like Eureka Seven(I loved E7(and it makes sense, considering all the same people who are working/who worked on both series)), the second was the theme song. I’m a huge Boom Boom Satellites fan(despite missing their last two albums ;-; ) and “Shut Up and Explode” is the opening theme.
Honestly, I don’t have too much to say about the first episode; I think that, generally(unless the first episode is god awful), a series needs to be judged by it’s second or third episode. To post some quick thoughts: The animation was great, the music was good, it looked great in HD, there wasn’t much of the story revealed but the world seems cool, Nakiami is hot and Shuu is (maybe) hotter. I thought it was odd that Japan is getting the series two months after the US, but it seems like it has more to do with the launch of the PSN video service than anything, so it makes sense.

A lot of people have been asking about Secret Journey lately, so perhaps this will answer some questions and reduce the number of e-mails I have to send.
Q: Where is Secret Journey 5?
A: I’m not sure; Poju has yet to release it.
Q: Has Poju canned Secret Journey?
A: As far as I know, he hasn’t. Each release so far has had a couple of months in between it, so this delay isn’t shocking. He’s also been working on other things, one that I can think of off the top of my head is (the incredibly awesome) AssBoy 2.
Q: When(if) a new chapter of Secret Journey is release, will you be translating it?
A: Unfortunately, I will not. Secret Journey, despite the fact that the story portions are loosely based on the Journey to the West, is not a doujinshi. And, honestly, if you weren’t familiar with the Journey to the West, you’d likely have no idea it was a derivative work. I wouldn’t be shocked if the story got picked up for a professional English release and I don’t want to be the reason it gets passed over.
Q: Why did you remove the translated SJ chapters from your site?

Usatarou posted a new front-page fanart of Chun-Li. Like Inazuma’s, this one is non-H, but still really hot. He also follows it with the statement ” Hereafter, I will draw a lot of FUTANARI.”, which, quite frankly, is wonderful.
